My Story
With a career spanning over 30 years across journalism, broadcasting, counselling, and public speaking, I bring a unique blend of insight, experience, and storytelling to every stage and space I enter. I began my professional journey with a Bachelor of Journalism, working across magazines, radio, and newspapers. I went on to win a PAMPA award for excellence in journalism and design. My voice has been a constant thread — hosting two radio shows, one live on food and wine, interviewing the country’s top chefs and producers, and another spotlighting remarkable people, from celebrities and business leaders to visionary change makers.
As the founder of one of Australia’s first women’s networking groups, I’ve presented to hundreds of women in Sydney and Melbourne, hosted and guested on countless podcasts, and coached media and podcasting to public figures and professionals, many of whom have succeeded. I’ve chaired a successful radio station in Sydney, been elected to boards and chambers, and mentored dozens of young women on their paths to leadership.
My life has spanned four continents and some of the world’s most vibrant, challenging, and beautiful cities. These experiences have shaped my worldview and deep belief in the power of human connection, communication, and resilience. I hold a Graduate Diploma in Holistic Counselling and a Master’s in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I’m currently in active practice, working with individuals, couples, and men to uncover how past trauma, relational dynamics, and internal narratives impact self-worth, success, and joy.
As a speaker and MC, I bring intelligence, humour, and grounded expertise to every engagement. I’ve spoken to intimate circles and large rooms, guided panels and interviewed thought leaders — always deeply committed to exploring the invisible dynamics that shape human interaction. I’m passionate about the role of boundaries, the psychology of language, and how self-esteem and power shape how we connect, negotiate, and lead.
As a mother to an extraordinary son, a survivor of a complex childhood, and someone who remains fiercely aspirational, I continue to learn, evolve, and show up in this work every day. I speak not only from the mind but from a life fully lived.
